JOB DESCRIPTION

This role is a full-time permanent position working a five day week including weekends and Bank Holidays. Candidates should have at least two years previous experience of working with Apes and Small Primates in a senior role, and a Zoo Animal Management qualification or equivalent is desirable. You will be responsible for maintaining high standards of animal care and welfare, assisting in all aspects of management and husbandry, whilst ensuring safety standards are adhered to. The successful candidate will be highly motivated, flexible and committed, with a good knowledge of the conservation and educational roles within zoos, and excellent communication skills to interact with visitors, which will include meet and greets and keeper experiences. A current driving licence will be an added advantage.
