Job Description
Job Summary Animal Workshops Mobile Zoo is looking for educational animal presenters to join our multi-award winning team. If you love entertaining kids and have a passion for teaching people about animals then this is the job for you! We are looking for fun, energetic, individuals with an ability to crowd control small people. Experience working with children and an animal qualification preferred. YOU MUST HAVE A FULL CLEAN UK MANUAL DRIVING LICENCE WHICH YOU HAVE HELD FOR A YEAR, and you must be 21+ years or over for vehicle insurance.
Duties will include: Hosting fun, engaging, educational Animal Encounters at schools, private/ public events and parties (for all ages) whilst presenting a variety of amazing animals- a confident, outgoing personality and suitable appearance is a must! You will need to show an ability to handle a large selection of animals including mammals, reptiles, amphibians, invertebrates and birds. You will be responsible for their care and well-being whilst out at presentations. Driving our company vehicle from our base in Mayland, Essex (UK) to venues across the Southeast of England to provide fun and exciting public and private presentations with our animals.
This is a part time, permanent position- the more availability you have the more shifts can be offered. Immediate start. Please be prepared for early starts!
MUST BE COMFORTABLE DRIVING A TRANSIT SIZED VAN.
Pay: £12.21 per hour.
